1-Frame policy for brand ambassadors: CAIT-Taking note of the Maggi noodles row, traders body Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has urged Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan to formulate policy and guidelines for brand ambassadors endorsing products.“...the current Maggi row has given an opportunity to frame specific policy and guidelines for brand ambassadors to be followed while doing any endorsement for any product,” CAIT said in a statement.
2-Govt unveils mobile app for Blood Bank locator-On the occasion of World Blood Donors Day today, the government has launched a mobile application for easy access of information regarding the nearest blood bank in the country.The National Blood Transfusion Council has made available directory of all 2760 licensed blood banks at National Health Portal, an official release said.
          3-India Post to issue 5 lakh new debit cards in next 2 months
India Post, which has started issuing personalised debit cards to its savings account holders, is planning to issue 5 lakh new debit cards over the next two months, a senior official has said.The Department of Posts (DoP) started issuing the cards from last year and so far, it has reached close to 10,000. “In the pilot project itself, we have issued 10,000 debit cards. Now, we are aiming to issue 5 lakh new cards to our customers in the next two months,” India Post Deputy Director General L N Sharma told. 
4-China confirms test of supersonic nuclear delivery vehicle
Chinese defence ministry has confirmed the test of a supersonic nuclear delivery vehicle, a move described by the US as an “extreme manoeuvre” amid tension in the South China Sea.The fourth successful test of hypersonic glide vehicle - which the US has dubbed the “Wu-14” - was carried out on Sunday. It was the People Liberation Army’s fourth test of the weapon in 18 months.“The scheduled scientific research and experiments in our territory is normal, and those tests are not targeted at any country and specific goals,” Hong Kong-based South China Morning Post quoted the defence ministry as saying. 
5-Quakes occur on moon, reveals analysis-Similar to earth, tectonic plate movement also occur on moon which causes quakes, a study has revealed.An analysis of pictures taken by Chandrayaan-1 has found that tectonic plates are present inside moon’s surface similar to earth and causes quakes on colliding which each other.Professor of Geology & Remote Sensing at School of Environmental sciences in Jawaharlal Nehru University, Saumitra Mukherjee, along with his student Priyadarshini Singh, has analysed the pictures of the surface of moon taken by the Narrow Angle camera and Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera of Chandrayaan-1.The data collected from south polar region of the moon reveals that many evidences have been found which establish that tectonic activity occur on the lunar surface, very similar to that on Earth, Prof Mukherjee said.

6-Harbhajan surpasses Akram’s Test scalps to climb to 9th in listIndia’s senior off-spinner Harbhajan Singh today reached a landmark as he surpassed Pakistan legend Wasim Akram’s tally of Test wickets to climb to ninth in the all-time highest wicket-takers’ list.Harbhajan today dismissed Imrul Kayes for 72 to reach 415 Test victims, one more than Akram’s 414 from 104 matches.His final figures of 3/64 took his tally to 416 victims from 102 Test matches.In fact, the Indian off-spinner reached the landmark quicker than Akram as the Pakistani had achieved the feat in two Test matches less.The ‘Turbanator’ is now only 20 wickets short of beating Kapil Dev’s 434 Test wickets to become the second highest wicket-taker in history of Indian Test cricket after Anil Kumble’s 619 wickets. 
7-HDFC Securities appoints Dhiraj Relli as MD & CEO

8-Mahindra to launch Jeeto mini truck to take on Tata Ace Zip-Mahindra & Mahindra will launch a new light commercial vehicle named Jeeto by the end of this month to take on homegrown rival Tata’s popular minitruck Ace Zip. 
9-FDI in services sector up 46% in 2014-15-With the government taking steps to improve ease of doing business and attracting investments, FDI inflows into the services sector grew by over 46 per cent to $ 3.25 billion in 2014-15.The services sector, which includes banking, insurance, outsourcing, R&D, courier and technology testing, had received foreign direct investment (FDI) worth $ 2.22 billion in 2013-14.However, the total foreign inflow in 2014-15 in the services sector was low as compared to 2012-13 when it was $ 4.83 billion, according to the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) data.
10-Hannover Re to offer reinsurance cover for Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana-Hannover Re, the world’s third largest reinsurer, has decided to offer reinsurance cover for the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) so as to encourage insurance companies to participate in the scheme.This global reinsurer is now in talks with several Indian insurers for this purpose, Ankur Nijhawan, Managing Director, Hannover Re Risk Management Services India told. 
11-Departing Deutsche Bank co-CEO Anshu Jain to work for free in advisory role-Deutsche Bank co-Chief Executive Anshu Jain will receive no severance pay and no compensation for working as an adviser to the bank in the six months after his departure, German media reported on Sunday.Jain did not want to financially burden the bank with his own, personal decision to quit, which followed a hailstorm of investor criticism, scandals, fines and investigations, reported the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.Jain and his counterpart, co-CEO Juergen Fitschen, shocked staff and investors by announcing plans to leave early one week ago. John Cryan, investment banking veteran and former finance chief of Swiss bank UBS AG, becomes CEO in July. 
12-Monsoon, inflation management can help RBI cut more: SBI chief-RBI will have more room to cut repo rate if monsoon continues to progress at the current pace and inflation is kept under control, State Bank of India (SBI) Chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya today said.
